Founder & Master Nutritionist
Katherine Lawrence is a globally recognized nutritionist with more than 17 years of experience teaching nutrition for disease prevention. In addition to certifications from Stanford Medicine in Nutrition Science and Cornell University in Plant-Based Nutrition, she has worked personally for Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Neal Barnard, featuring her story in several of Dr. Barnard’s books.
While working as an aerospace engineer in 2006, Katherine was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, ovarian and uterine cysts. She was told there was no cure for her condition, that she was completely infertile, and that a total hysterectomy was the only solution. Through complete dietary transformation, she was able to reverse her condition and go on to have three healthy boys. After this remarkable recovery, Katherine uprooted her life and became dedicated to bringing the power of nutrition to the masses.
Katherine has taught nutrition classes in person to over 20,000 students in North Texas. Starting in 2015, she built a multi-million-dollar direct sales business using the nutrition classes she created. She perfectly balanced educating as many people as possible on plant-based nutrition and having a sustainable business model to support this mission. Her knack for creating exciting and engaging classes has inspired many to change the trajectory of their health journey, with some of her most popular class topics being Sleep, Sex, Food Addiction, and more.
Earlier this year, she shifted her focus to educating others on how to do the same for themselves and how to help spread the message of WFPB nutrition while building a successful business. She founded Food Saved Me Institute, where a Certified Nutrition Instructor program is offered globally. In the program, students receive complete turn-key class curriculums, including customized class handouts, promotions, marketing strategy, teaching instruction, and all the invaluable lessons Katherine has learned to maximize effective teaching and how to introduce a product or service to support it.

From the depth & sincerity of the education to the deliciousness of every plant-based meal, you will be empowered to own your health in ways that will impact generations to come. It's a class that will open your eyes, touch your heart & change your life."
I took a FSMI class and immediately, I felt better. It took a while for me to learn about all the things I CAN eat and not be stuck in what I CAN’T eat. But it didn’t take long at all for the food to be just wonderful and plentiful. I could eat and enjoy it and feel good too! No more feeling sick and lethargic."
I was in my early 30s & seeing a cardiologist. I didn’t own a scale that could weigh me because I was so heavy. With the switch to a plant-based diet, I’ve lost over 100 pounds, & I no longer have diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol. The only thing I changed was what I ate.
In 2004, I was diagnosed with a 2cm pituitary tumor. Part of my treatment is regular checkups with detailed bloodwork. My results are always the same: perfect cholesterol, protein, & calcium levels. Every doctor I see commends the way I eat. Changing the way I eat didn’t just change my life—It saved it!"
